Hey everyone! Thanks for sticking with me and reading my blogs! I hope you all find my blogs helpful and learn more about the environment and how to combat climate change. Today, I'm going to talk about theclimateactivist and what my plans are for 2025!
Currently, I'm working on updating our website to include a project section, where I can showcase some of my own climate related experiments and projects conducted in my community. Right now, I'm heading a team of 12 to create a Native Carbon Garden at my local high school, where we will study soil data and learn about how native California grasses can sequester CO2 to improve biodiversity, soil health, and the environment. Likewise, I plan to continue with my heat mapping project, working with the city of Livermore to track disproportionate heat islands and cool them down through the planting of trees and construction of cooling centers.
Uploading schedules will be consistent with last year, and you can still expect your favorite blogs coming your way every other week! Keep your eyes peeled- we got a lot in store for 2025.
